XUZHOU, China – On the afternoon of March 28, the Xuzhou International Communication Center was officially inaugurated, marking a new chapter in the city’s commitment to opening up and engaging with the world through culture, innovation, and industry.
The launch ceremony was attended by Hu Liansheng, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee; Liu Wei, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the Xuzhou Municipal Committee; Lu Baohua, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Macau Daily News, who led a Macau media delegation; and Zhen Wenqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union at XCMG.
XCMG Leads the “Smart Manufacturing Xuzhou” Brand Initiative
As the flagship enterprise of Xuzhou’s “343” innovation industrial cluster, XCMG was selected to represent the city’s “Smart Manufacturing Xuzhou” brand project — a platform designed to help the world better understand Xuzhou’s industrial strength and global vision.
The event drew significant international attention, with Macau Daily News featuring a special report on both the new center and XCMG’s role in advancing the city’s global narrative.
Global Ambassadors, Global Reach
Five individuals were honored as “Overseas Communication Envoys” , including José, a Brazilian employee of XCMG, and Wang Haitao, President of the Macau–Xuzhou Friendship Association and Publisher of Lotus Times.
With products exported to over 190 countries and regions — including more than 95% of countries along the Belt and Road — XCMG has long served as a bridge connecting Xuzhou to global markets. The company’s Global Customer Festival, now in its seventh year, has welcomed tens of thousands of international visitors to Xuzhou, fostering cross-cultural exchange and long-term partnership.
