XCMG’s Iron Arms Build Embankment in 15 Days at the Hometown of “Village Super League”

Rongjiang, Guizhou – In the picturesque hometown of China’s viral “Village Super League” (Village Football Super League), XCMG’s heavy machinery has completed a 15‑day intensive flood embankment reinforcement project, bringing solid flood protection to local villages and supporting rural vitalization.

Located in Guizhou’s Rongjiang County, the birthplace of the beloved grassroots football event, the project took place along the Pingyong River in Guzhou Town. The XCMG XE380GK large excavator operated more than 12 hours per day, conducting earth excavation, riverbank trimming and compaction under complex mountainous and riverine conditions.

After 15 days of round‑the‑clock efforts, a robust flood‑control embankment took shape, effectively shielding villages and farmland along the river from seasonal flood risks. Local villagers expressed relief at the completion, noting the new barrier brings greater safety ahead of the rainy season.
