XCMG Joins 2025 Asia Philanthropy Forum to Champion “Small Yet Impactful” Community Projects

BOAO, Hainan – The 2025 Asia Philanthropy Forum recently convened in Boao, drawing over 600 delegates from 16 countries and regions, including government representatives, international organization leaders, and CSR experts, to discuss the future of charitable development in Asia.

As a key part of the forum, XCMG co-hosted a parallel session titled “Small-Yet-Impactful Philanthropy: Building Bridges Through Community Projects” with the China Rural Development Foundation and Tsinghua University’s 21st Century Development Research Institute. The session focused on designing and implementing precise, practical, and sustainable grassroots initiatives that address local needs and foster cross-cultural understanding.

In his congratulatory letter to the forum, Chen Zhu, former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and President of the Red Cross Society of China, emphasized the vital role of philanthropy in promoting humanitarian cooperation. The letter was delivered by Wang Rupeng, former Vice President of the Red Cross Society of China and Dean of the Red Cross International College.

A Legacy of Global Community Commitment

Since 2015, XCMG’s “Global Micro-Wish” initiative has reached over 100 schools worldwide, bringing educational support and hope to nearly 10,000 children. In partnership with the China Rural Development Foundation, XCMG launched the “Africa Water Cellar” project in 2016, constructing 237 water cellars across underserved regions in Africa and providing tens of thousands of residents with sustainable access to clean water.

Through these targeted, community-focused efforts, XCMG extends the warmth of engineering excellence beyond machinery—touching lives and fostering goodwill across the globe.
