Take the construction of the round – island highway on Yushan Island as an example. This project, which is expected to last for 3 years, has a total length of 18.8 kilometers for the north – south line. It involves an astonishing 570,000 cubic meters of earth – rock excavation and 330,000 cubic meters of filling. To meet such a daunting task, 24 XCMG XE200GA excavators have been deployed. Operators have praised the XE200GA highly. Operator Master Lu said, “The XCMG XE200GA is really a great helper. A single device can complete more than 1,000 cubic meters of earth – rock operations per day. It is highly efficient and easy to operate.” In the complex geological conditions of Yushan Island, the XE200GA has demonstrated excellent durability. Even in muddy sections, its widened crawler plates and optimized chassis structure maintain stability. During continuous operation, all components of the machine run smoothly, and there has never been a shutdown failure due to high temperature or overload. Since the project started, XCMG equipment has cumulatively completed more than 200,000 cubic meters of earth – rock excavation, with an average daily operation time of over 10 hours. Its high – efficiency and stable performance have ensured the smooth progress of the construction.
The XE200GA also excels in the driving experience. The cockpit adopts automotive – grade sealing technology, effectively isolating construction dust, allowing the driver to always be in a clean and comfortable operating environment, just like being in a “moving first – class cabin”. On – site operators commented, “The shock – absorbing seat in the cab is as comfortable as a car seat. Even on bumpy roads, you don’t feel tired. Driving it is like driving a luxury SUV, both stable and comfortable.”
In addition, the XE200GA’s exhaust gas treatment adopts EGR technology, eliminating the need for additional urea addition. This not only meets strict environmental protection requirements but also reduces operating costs, truly achieving “green power, high – efficiency and energy – saving”.
Technically, the XE200GA hydraulic excavator is a new – generation “shift king” carefully crafted by XCMG with a customer – centered approach. It is equipped with an independently developed electronically controlled positive – flow hydraulic system. The system can precisely match and control the flow, improving response accuracy. The overall vehicle’s compound operation has high coordination and low impact. For instance, in the G320 National Highway southward relocation project, which is a key project connecting the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the XCMG XE200GA, along with other XCMG equipment, has also made important contributions. This project needs to pass through a red sandstone mountain body over a hundred meters high, and the construction section cannot use blasting for mining due to its proximity to reservoirs, power plants and other civil facilities. Facing the daily demand of 8,000 cubic meters of earth – rock, traditional breakers encountered difficulties. However, XCMG’s technical team formulated a set of effective solutions. Although the main equipment for this “hard – nut – to – crack” section was the XE750GK, the XE200GA also played a role in subsequent earth – rock transportation and auxiliary operations, ensuring the smooth progress of the overall project.
